For the third year the AAF stimulated the minds of
both existing and new buyers alike. In total we welcomed 15.000 visitors to the
fair between Wednesday 28th October and Sunday 1st November (an increase of 11%
compared to last year) and total sales figure was E1.3 million (9% higher than
last year).
The Affordable Art Fair is the place for original and contemporary art to
fit all budgets. Its friendly environment invites first time buyers to browse
amongst thousands of paintings, original prints, photography and sculpture,
whilst seasoned collectors can seek out hot new artists.
The galleries offer a wide range of art: from figurative to abstract, from
traditional to avant-garde. With prices ranging from €100 to €5000, it is an
art-buying opportunity that cannot be missed!
There are a wide range of features that make the fair a great place to meet
up with friends or to bring the family. Throughout the event, there will be
free workshops about art techniques, a relaxed café where you have a sandwich
and digest your impressions, a wine bar, and professional, free daycare and
free workshops.
In short, AAF Amsterdam is a fair where you can
look at contemporary art, love it and leave with your own piece!
